1. The name of the main character.
2. Two words describing the main character.
3. Three words describing the setting.
4. Four words describing the story problem.
5. Five words describing one event in the story.
6. Six words describing a second event in the story.
7. Seven words describing a third event in the story.
8. Eight words describing the solution to the problem.
Hint: If you and your friends are doing separate Story Pyramids, you may have different answers for some of the questions. That is OK. Now you all can compare and contrast your answers. Remember, everyone must turn in a story pyramid about their book!
Task 2 Research
For this task, I would like for you to read and research a topic related to your book. Then, you will write a paragraph about this topic.
First, let's review basic paragraph structure. Remember, a good paragraph should have a topic sentence, sentences with supporting details , and a closing sentence. Put all that information together and you get a good paragraph. Here is another way to look at it!
Now that you have reviewed basic paragraph structure. Please find your book on the list and complete your research. When you have finished, please begin writing your paragraph. If you feel the need to write more than one paragraph, GO FOR IT!
